DevStat in the Working Group on Measuring E-commerce and the Digital Economy

DevStat participated in the second meeting of the Working Group on Measuring E-commerce and the Digital Economy organized by UNCTAD (3-4 May 2021), presenting the updated version of the Manual for Measuring the Digital Economy, which was prepared by DevStat’s senior experts José Cervera-Ferri and José Vila. The Manual aims at helping developing countries implement surveys to measure e-commerce, use of ICT by businesses, digitally delivered services and trade in ICT goods. This activity continues DevStat’s expertise in providing assistance to National Statistical Offices (in Kazakhstan, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia) and training on ICT statistics. Our Data Scientist, Yolanda Gómez is now a PhD in Industrial Economics

We are proud to announce that our collegue, Yolanda Gómez has achieved her doctorate´s degree with the thesis “The Human factor in cybersecurity: An experimental approach to cyber-risk an cyberinsurance”, directed by our Scientific director Jose Vila, PhD.

She obtained her PhD in Industrial Economics with the highest qualification!!

We know that her hardship and efforts have finally paid off on her well-deserved success.

DevStat impartirá durante los próximos 3 meses, unas tutorías sobre la contratación pública internacional a la empresa valenciana K-Veloce, dedicada a la gestión integral del I+D+i.

El personal experto de DevStat dará formación en cuestiones relacionadas con las estrategias de contratación pública a nivel internacional. Estas tutorías serán financiadas por el Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) y el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER).
