On the 20-22 March 2017, DevStat together with Data Stars (our partner in the Region) participated at the First GCC Statistical Forum 2017 organised in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
The Saudi Government General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) and the Statistical Center of the GCC Countries (GCC-Stat) co-organized the first GCC Statistical Forum, under the theme of “Enhancing Statistical Partnerships to Support Economic Policies and Sustainable Development in the GCC Region.” The Forum gathered high-level decision makers and policy analysts alongside leaders of data and statistical information producing agencies from the GCC region and beyond. The event was hosted by GASTAT, while GCC-Stat was in charge of the scientific and research aspects and coordination with the speakers.
DevStat’ team was attending the Forum, presenting our expertise and discussing new exciting opportunities of collaboration with companies and institutions in the Region.
